• Building Brighter Futures

Brighter Futures Outpatient Clinic provides quality mental health services to children and families in the Lewis Clark Valley.

As a subsidiary of the Northwest Children’s Home; Brighter Futures clinic offers specific therapeutic services to address both mental and behavioral health issues.

The mission of the Northwest Children’s Home is to “provide quality rehabilitative, therapeutic, recreational, educational and vocational services for children and families in need.” Northwest Children’s Home has been serving vulnerable and traumatized youth since 1908 through residential treatment programs. However, as time passed, the agency recognized a need outside of the residential facilities for mental health services in the community. By expanding outside of traditional residential treatment, Northwest Children’s Home is able to serve a broader range of children and families in need.

Brighter Futures clinic proudly offers services that are vital to the health of the community at large. Specific services offered include but are not limited to:

  • Psychotherapy
  • Medication Management
  • Community Based Rehabilitation Services
  • Targeted Care Coordination

Brighter Futures clinic provides a variety of therapeutic services through clinically licensed counselors and/or social workers. Some therapeutic techniques used include individual, family and group psychotherapy. The clinic is trained to utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) techniques.

Building Brighter Futures is the driving force behind all services offered by Northwest Children’s Home and its’ subsidiaries. This non-profit agency exists to support and strengthen children and families in need. It is a privilege to continue to expand our reach and promote mental health in our community.
